I'd like to offer my condolences the the family. My mum (June Brewer nee Hawkins) was a cousin of Laurine's. When mum was in the Villa her room was next to Laurine's. I would always stop in and have a chat with Laurine, she was such a lovely person.

Sending our sympathies to the Green family in the loss of your mother. Laurine and Vernon will always be a very special couple in our hearts. Laurine for her kindness and hospitality and Vernon for his willingness to lend a helping hand assisting with the construction of our shed many years ago. One time they invited us for supper and presented stuffed pheasants! Something we'd never had before but they were delicious! May warm memories of happy days comfort you all. Kim and Stephen LeBlanc

I spent many wonderful years at Wee Wisdom Kindergarten with Mrs. Green as the music teacher .....I started when my children were part of her program and I continued for about 20 more years -long after my kids graduated but every year Mrs. Green would say that I didn't graduate so I would have to come back in September.....we had many laughs together in that time ...she was a very special lady and anyone who attended her school has fond long lasting memories....I am unable to come to the service but I know it will be a cherished celebration of a life well lived and well remembered by many.....Chris Freeman

To Lana, Brad and families,
Saddened to hear of the passing of your dear Mother and Grandmother.
We have many fond memories of Laurine over the years at family gatherings, visits to their lovely home on Montgomery Street,
and also their winter home in Florida. My first memories were at my Moir Grandparent’s home in Bloomfield Ridge after she and my cousin Vernon married and later there after becoming the proud parents of Brad and Lana. Will remember her warm bright smile, always friendly, kind, and caring with a quick wit.
We regret not being able to attend her memorial service but will keep you and all of Laurine’s family in our thoughts and prayers.
With our love and heartfelt condolences. Florence and David McCord,

To Lana, Bradley and all the family,
I am so sorry that I didn't get in to see Laurine when I was in Fredericton last year, even though she probably wouldn't have remembered me.
We had a lot of good times together after meeting in 1956. She stood up with me when Calvin and I were married in 1958, and Vernon was Cal's best man.
We kept in close contact for most of the intervening years, and also visiting each other in Florida, and had lots of fun! She and Vernon both had a great sense of humor, and I cherish all those happy memories!
And she made a "mean date square ", as one of their guests at Settlers' Rest commented!
Thanks for the memories, Laurine!
Rest in peace!

Our deepest sympathy to Brad and Lana and families on Laurine’s passing. I met Mrs. Green when our three children, Scott, Jeremy and Jill Durling attended Wee Wisdom Kindergarten. We were very pleased with the enriched private education that she provided to our children. We have fond memories of attending Christmas concerts, field trips, and graduation ceremonies done with flair. She always showed interest in our children and wanted to hear of their accomplishments, perhaps taking a little credit for her role in their education! As well, Laurine was a very dear friend to me over the years and for this, I am grateful.

As one of her former kindergarten students, I can say, Mrs. Green had an impact on so many of us over the years. A woman who genuinely cared, I saw her many times later in life and she was always courteous, kind and a genuinely caring person. Always proud of the accomplishments of her former students, she took such an active role in education. She even always asked about how and what I was doing years later. It will always be a source of pride for me that her son sat on the bench during my bar call ceremony. She had such an impact and instilled values of respect, compassion and humility on all her students. She lived such a full life where she impacted so many. Mrs. Green will be remembered by too many to count.
