Obituary of Cory Oulton
It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Cory Oulton on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at his home in
Cory was a carpenter by trade who took great pride in his work. He was also considered a jack of all trades by his family and friends. There was never a problem or project he couldn’t conquer. He loved new adventures and travelling with his family. Always planning the next meal, Cory loved both cooking new cuisine and visiting local restaurants for new and exciting food fare and drinks. Cory enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, boating and spending time at the camp with friends. He lived his life to the fullest and will be sorely missed.
Cory is survived by his wife, Tanya (Lawson); son, Jack and daughter, Kathryn; his parents, Beverly and Eunice Oulton; brother, Alan Oulton (Karen); in-laws, Rob and Janice Little; brother-in-laws, Jeff Lawson (Carla) and Trevor Lawson (Tammy); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and Charlie - his special furry companion.
The family wish to express their deepest gratitude for all the love and support shown throughout this journey. Words alone cannot begin to describe our overwhelming appreciation. Special thanks to all those in the medical community who have had a part in Cory’s care over the last few years. There are many whose names we will never know but who made a difference, for example, Cory often talked about the volunteers who brought around the snacks while he was enduring his treatments. We would like to thank his family doctor, Dr L Plant; oncologist, Dr J Michael; radiation oncologist, Dr Mohiuddin; the oncology teams in
