Obituary of Jacqueline Stickles

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jacqueline ‘Jaci’ née Spilman Stickles of Lake George, New Brunswick. Jaci was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on July 12, 1942 and passed away peacefully at Pine Grove Nursing Home on August 15, 2024.

She was predeceased by her loving husband George Stickles along with one brother and sister-in-law George and Darlene Spilman; she was also predeceased by her parents Stanley and Mabel ‘Billie’ Spilman.

 

Jaci is survived by her children Pam (Darren) Vance, Paul Stickles and Cathie Stickles (Sonya).

 

She was a devoted wife, she and Dad were inseparable. She had the most motherly instincts and loved spending time with her grandchildren Jenna, Josh, Hunter, Matthew, Megan, Mitchell, Nathan, and Brandon; and her great grandchildren Ruckus, Briar, Lucas and Lexi.

 

Mom loved camping in the summer. She spent her spare time sewing and knitting clothing and blankets for all of her kids. She also enjoyed painting beautiful paintings that we will cherish forever.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, New Brunswick, where arrangements are to be confirmed in the following days. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com. Donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
