I will remember Aunt Dolly as an energy-packed, joyous and kind person who gave wonderful hugs. She and Uncle Jack would often park at our house to attend the annual “Frex” in September. I loved seeing the two them head off, hand-in-hand, and still much in love. Glad that they’ll be together again.

It was August 1968. Tony and I were living in Fredericton. Tony was at UNB. Every Sunday, Dolly had us over for dinner and it was always a feast! We sat there at the dinner table with all four kids and it was always a joyous occasion. By April of 1969, I was pregnant with Laura and uncle Jack decided it was taking too long (she was overdue). So he decided to make a seafood chowder to see if it would speed things along…. And it did! Dolly was always there for us as a young, newlywed couple. She was much loved and has always been a big part of my life. I will miss her.

My deepest condolences to Catherine & Jim, and all of Dolly's family. I remember Dolly (and Jack) well, after having met them through Catherine many years back. She was always very personable, and certainly made a positive impact on those whose lives were touched by her presence, energy, and activity. May the knowledge of a life well lived, and the comfort and presence of family and friends, bring much healing and peace as you celebrate and remember her and Jack's life. May she be welcomed most joyfully and warmly into God's eternal kingdom of unending happiness, love, and joy.

Our deepest sympathy to Dolly’s family at this very difficult time. We got to know Dolly , Jack, and their family when my brother, Dana, married Dolly’s daughter,Deborah. Dolly was a very kind person who was concerned for others and helped many people. She certainly helped our family on a number of occasions ,and we were so thankful. At this time may God comfort you, her family, as you adjust to life without this dear woman.
Love, Mary and Lowell Jones

I first met Dolly when I began to attend the Prostate Cancer Support group with my husband. As one of only a few women in attendance, Dolly was a great support to me and took me under her wing.
Truly one of those people you liked instantly. So joyful and witty and fun! I can only imagine that everyone who met her felt the same.
I last saw Dolly on her 90th birthday and she was the same sweet lady, so excited about her special day.
It was a privilege and a gift to have known her.

Dear Deborah, Paul, Catherine, Victoria, Chris, Peter and all Dolly's family;
What a wonderful woman Dolly was and what a gift to all of us who met her! Her infectious laugh, the glint in her eye when she was in the midst of a prank, her compassion and care for each person she met no matter who they were, her joy so obvious when meeting you, these are just a few of the qualities that drew people to her.
May you find comfort in your many memories of her and may you know she is always with you & lives on in each of you. I am sure Jack was impatiently waiting for her to join him!
My love and prayers to each of you, Sister Karen Kelly, CND

Dolly’s family,
What a lady, always the same, friendly with a big smile.
I enjoyed bowling with Dolly years ago at the Marysville Bowling League and really had fun at the Swinging Sixties exercise program with her. We all really miss her.
Rest in peace Dolly.

Q: How did you meet Gabriel?
A: We met "Dolly" and Jack in 1978 when we started practice in Marysville. They were special people who had 4 children we got to know and care for as well. As they aged, (as we did), they were most importantly friends as well as patients and remained so until their entry to Heaven. They both were great patients, easy, friendly, and we loved to see them. When Paul (their son) asked Tom for a recommendation to medical school, we agreed (in jest) if he would come back and practice medicine with us. Dr Paul did return and it was wonderful for our family as Paul looks after the Barrys! A very special Kerr family to be associated with.
The Barry Family thanks Jack and Dolly

We are fortunate to have shared in her life. Gratefully, Sister Eleanor, CND

Q: How did you meet Gabriel?
A: Dolly is/was amazing women who touched the life of many. I met here at her daughters place and at once felt connection. Dolly's wit and charm captured me at once. We shared many laughs together, and she was always up to a good laugh and prank. You run your race, and seize your prize! Keep looking down on us and keep smiling.
