Obituary of Rebecca Paulette McArthur

Rebecca (Beckie) Paulette McArthur, aged 74, passed away on May 9, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, her sisters, and many other family members. She was predeceased by her husband, and the love of her life, Robin Dale McArthur; her mother, Isabelle Melvina Price; her father, Andrew Vank; and her brother, Joseph Issacc Storey.

Beckie is survived by her children, Michelle MacDonald of Fredericton, NB, Samantha Paul (Jonathon) of Scotch Lake, NB and Charity MacDonald of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Summer, Destiny, Jesse (Brittany), Anthony (Kari), James (Paige), Nicholas, Natalie (Billy), Kyle and Hope; great-grandchildren, Serenity, Soraya, Phoenix, Abel, Braxton, Millie, Maizie, Laston, Zayden, Lilith, Silver, Meadow, Piper, Ivy and Stella sisters, Linda Price of Doaktown, NB and Cathy Storey (Gerald) of Fredericton, NB; son-in-law, Neil Yerxa of Scotch Lake, NB; along with several nieces.

Beckie spent her years working at the Fredericton Motor Inn, where she was blessed with an extended work family, who she admired and cherished for 30+ years. She had a fierce love for her family, she enjoyed country music, quilting, cross stitching, and watching movies on her big screen TV, an enjoyment she instilled in all of her children, and grandchildren, and was able to enjoy with each of them right up to the end.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be determined. Friends and family will be notified of those details once arrangements have been made.
