Obituary of Kyler Blaze Hunter-Astle

With deep sorrow, the family of Kyler Blaze Hunter-Astle heartbreakingly announce his sudden passing on May 5th, 2024 at the age of 22.

Kyler was born on August 18, 2001 in Fredericton, NB. He was a beloved son of Ashley Hunter and Ren Astle and a cherished sibling to Addyson and Gigi. Kyler also leaves behind his children, Elle and Malcom with their mother, Julia Patterson.

He was predeceased by grandfathers, George McKay and Ed Haines; grandmothers, Patsy Hunter and Pamela Astle; aunt and uncle Flora and Reid Doak.

His passing is mourned by his grandparents, Cindy Hunter, Stafford (Marilyn) Munn, Margie (Rick Lyons); great grandmother, Yvonne McKay; aunts and uncles, Allison Hunter (Joey Caterini), Kim Munn (Glen Smith), Pam Munn (Mitch Sanscartier), Heather (Troy) Sheers, Laura (Terry Ramsay), Rueben Astle, Rikki Lyons; great aunts, Wendy (Edward) Werthmann and Heather Hunter; great uncle Robin McKay.

He leaves behind many other family members and cousins that were close with him. Kyler entered our lives and brought us much joy and love during his short lifetime. He loved his family and friends deeply and fiercely, especially his children. Kyler loved being a father and was so proud of his children. There will never be a day that goes by that we forget him. He will be remembered, loved and cherished forever.

Arrangements are under the loving care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. Although there will be no public services at this time, a Celebration of Kyler’s Life will be held at a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
