Obituary of Merle Lloyd Fox

The passing of Merle Lloyd Fox of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Willa (Sobey) Fox occurred on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Shannex - Frederick Hall, Fredericton, NB. Born on April 21, 1942 in Southampton, NB he was a son of the late Lloyd and Nora (Dore) Fox. 

Merle is survived by his siblings, Marie Colwell (Ron) of Fredericton, NB, Madeline Barton of Stoney Creek, ON, Malcolm Fox (Debra) of Southampton, NB and Maude VanDine (Arthur) of Woodstock, NB; and several nieces and nephews. 

In keeping with Merle’s wishes, there will be a Private Family and Friends Celebration of Life held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 2pm. Interment will take place at Maple Glen Cemetery, Maple Glen, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
