It is with great sadness that the family of Irma Russell announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Irma was born Irma Eloise O’Donnell, daughter to Wallace O’Donnell and Louise (
In 1949, she married Lloyd Russell, husband of 59 years, They had 3 daughters, Gail Archibald (David Greeno), Wendy Henwood (Jim), and Shelley Tracey, one grandson David Tracey (Carrie-Anne Bradley), and 2 great grandsons Seth Tracey and Evan Tracey.
She was predeceased by her parents, siblings, her husband Lloyd, stillborn son Stephen, son-in-law Dean Archibald, as well as several nephews.
Irma was very active in the community, selling Avon in her younger life, being active in
Irma was also known for her skills in the kitchen, always sharing with anyone who was sick, bereaved, or in need of any kind. Irma will be sadly missed by anyone who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held from St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown, NB on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in St. Thomas United Church Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Atlantic Salmon Museum, Doaktown, NB. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the New Brunswick Alzheimer’s Society, or charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
