Not so much in the last few years, but while he was still able, my brother-in-law, Irvine, loved to go hunting and fishing whenever he could. Every Spring, he loved to go picking fiddleheads up the Nashwaak river, and every Fall he loved to go picking apples up in Penniac, so his wife, Jane could bake him apple pies! He loved them! Good memories!

I have so many memories of Irvine since he became my Brother-in-Law 57 years ago. He was the kindest, most loving, quiet and gentlest Husband and Father to my sister, Jane and their 2 daughters, Carla and Jana! He adored them!! He was always a quiet man, very, very hard working and very intelligent about the world in general. I have never seen him lose his temper or talk harshly about anyone. I, never in my 57 years of knowing Irvine, have never heard him swear or take the Lord's name in vane, he knew the Bible inside and out and he had a memory like a sieve! He loved to play cards, (Auction 45's) and he loved baseball, (especially the Blue Jays) and Nascar racing ...... especially Jeff Gordon! He got a kick out of the many jokes that my brothers told him. (who didn't?) When his grandsons, Zach and Gabe were born, he couldn't have been happier, or prouder!!!!! He thought the sun rose and set on his boys!! .... and they, him!! His wife and daughters loved him with all their heart and soul and we, his in-laws, also thought the world of him! Rest In Peace Irvine ..... Heaven has gained another Angel and you will be greatly missed and always remembered with love.
