The passing of J. Keith Scott of Fredericton, NB, husband of Marie A. (Pond) Scott, occurred on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Born on February 7, 1930 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late James H. and Alice M. (Norrad) Scott. Keith worked as a Fishery Officer for the Federal Government. He was a member of the Boiestown United Church, Life Member of Landmark Masonic Lodge #51, "Fredericton Fire Brigade", Scottish Rite, Past Member and Worthy Patron of the Hill Crest #40 Eastern Star and Luxor Shrine and participated with Meals on Wheels.

 

Keith is survived by daughters, Penny Farris, Susan Coddington, Leitha Bibo (Paul); three granddaughters, one grandson, three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 

Predeceased by his daughter, Lynn Kedy; sister, Genevra Dorcas; infant sister, Joan; sons-in-law, Sherlock “Lockie” Munn, George Farris and Wayne Kedy.

 

A Memorial Service will be held from York Care Centre’s Friendship Centre, 100 Sunset Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 2 pm with Pastor Normand McDonald officiating. Interment will take place in Boiestown United Church Cemetery, Boiestown, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Boiestown United Church or to the charity of donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
