Obituary of Kenneth James MacDonald

The MacDonald family are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Kenneth James MacDonald (Kenny Bear), of Parker Ridge, NB, occurred on March 9, 2024 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on September 18, 1950 in Levack, ON, he was the son of the late James and Phyllis (Lockhart) MacDonald. Kenneth's mining career had taken him to all parts of the world. Kenneth loved hunting and fishing with his old buddies back in the day. He would never turn down a good game of crib.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth (Marc); step-daughter Annette (Gary); step-sons, Gerard and Serge (Michelle); sisters, Sandy (Deceased Les), Becky (Todd) and Katherine; brothers, Gordon (Jane) and David (Rose); proud grandfather to Casandra (Peter); step-grandfather to Amanda and Kelsey); his adopted family The Munns of New Brunswick and great family friend Jenny; he was the favourite uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was definitely one of a kind. We say “see you later” to Kenneth James MacDonald; the man, the myth, the legend. Have a cold Molson EX for him! A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
