LeBlanc, Helen Joy
The passing of Helen Joy LeBlanc of Fredericton, NB, wife of Wilfred "Fred" George LeBlanc for 63 years, occurred on March 4, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 3, 1935 in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Annie (Coetzee) Cameron and Cecil Balser. Helen worked with the Province of New Brunswick as a Clerk, but her main job was taking care of her family. She enjoyed camping, travelling as much as she could, baking, and loved music and playing piano. Her real joy was being with and taking care of her family.
The family would like to express special thanks to Windsor Court and the nurses and staff in 3-East at the DECH for the love and care they provided for Helen.
Helen is survived by children, Wayne LeBlanc (Mona) of Fredericton, Brenda Barr (Randy) of Fredericton, Geoffrey LeBlanc (Jake) of Digby, NS, Terry LeBlanc (Kate) of Saint John, Tracey Ann Mann (Rodney) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Stephanie, Greg, Natasha, Jessica, Elizabeth, Emma; brother, Ken Balser (Connie); 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Helen was predeceased by her brother Michael Balser of Toronto, ON.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Windsor Court, 10 Barton Crescent, Fredericton, on the fifth floor on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 2:30 PM. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Parkinson Foundation or the SPCA. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
