Deepest Condolences and prayers for the family. Harry and I knew each other through our Veterans group. He and I both were Airborne veterans. He was and is well thought of amoung those in our group. He alway had us cracking up with his antics and his straight forward personality. I myself spent many a time video chatting with him. Talking about our military experiences as well as our daily lives. He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace our brother in arms! Till we all meet again in formation before our creator!

My deepest condolences to all Harold's family.
He and I met in South Korea and bonded over stories of our very different backgrounds - me being from South Africa and having to resist conscription into an Apartheid army and him so proud of his background in the military. Very different stories, but we developed a strong mutual respect which grew into a long friendship. Music was something we had in common and I had endless respect for his incredible talent. We were due to work on a song or two and I am devastated that we never did get round to that. So sad that he is gone. Farewell, my friend. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.

Harold and I kicked around some of the same dirt growing up in CBS. We took similar career paths, just in different militaries. We have maintained contact over the years with online and I always appreciated his quit with, humor, and honesty, that I appreciated so very much. He was definitely a rare breed of human and I mean that in such a positive way it hurts. I will miss our banter and as he often ended his posts with...AATW!

So many memories. Too many to share. Harold was like a brother in law to me for the last 10 years. A man who would do anything for the people he cares about and was Uncle Harold to our boys. A man of honour and integrity. A humour untouched by any. Harold made everyone laugh on a daily basis. Those are the memories I will hold onto, until we meet again my friend! Rest Easy Brother!

We only had the pleasure of knowing Harold for a few short years, but he was a favourite of everyone in our family.
He was an ear, a laugh, a shoulder, a very dear friend.
He was a brother.
He was Uncle Harold.
He was Uncle Paydote.
He will be missed, always.
