Stevie & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing, have missed hearing updates on family. My last chat with Ruth was a phone call from the cottage a few years ago when we recalled visits in 'the good old days' when I used to bring my mother-in-law Janie Morton Hannah to visit Ruthie's parents & then just her Mom after her Dad passed. Janie was a cousin of Ruth's on the Murray side and they always loved to keep up on all family news also.
Ruth's obituary is a wonderful tribute to the lovely & careing lady I remember as Ruthie.
Sorry I didn't make a better effort to keep in touch so didn't know she had developed dementia in last years.
We are thinking of you with love & prayers that God will Bless you & all of Ruth's family with many fond memories of happier times to help ease the pain of sadness during these difficult days and give you comfort in the future as you continue on life's journey without your loved one. Ruth will certainly be greatly missed by all who knew & loved her. Take comfort in knowing the she is now safely in her Heavenly Home with family members who have been waiting for her and from where she will continue to shine her love & caring on all the family who she loved so much & was so proud of.
Sorry we are unable to be with you today to join in the Celebration of Life for this special lady who made life so much better for so many during her long & busy life.
Sincere & heartfelt sympathy from all,
Gordon, Mary & Karen Morton,
Riverview, NB

So many special memories of Ruth have come to mind in the past few days. We worked together for Stonecroft Ministries (Christian Women’s Club) for several years and made many trips to Clubs around the Maritimes, starting with a night spent in her lovely home in Moncton. She always encouraged and challenged me and the women we worked with to be strong, loyal ambassadors for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her love for her husband and family was always her priority, we shared lots of favourite family memories as we drove many miles together. She was a loyal friend and a true servant of our Lord. I pray for strength, comfort and peace for her family and friends during the coming days.
