My condolences to the entire Porter Family at this time. Frank was a special man with a terrific personality. I remember my Father was insured with him when he started up his business and I continued with Frank myself for many years thereafter. He will be missed very deeply, but as the apostle Paul said " .....as is written, eye hath not seen nor ear heard neither entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love Him." I Corinthians 4:6
The best is yet to come.

Just got the news ! Meagan fell last night and broke a bone in her foot so was playing around on Facebook when she came across Bobby's post. Praise God for minor miracles....everyday ! Would have been beside ourselves not to have paid our respects to the family.
Beyond being a blood relative and pew mates for over 27 years , Frank , was our spiritual brother and mentor. David Bently said it best..."Well done thy good and faithful servant !!" Frank's ferverent grounding in Christ was the measure of this man , especially during difficult circumstances ,.where it truly count's the most.
To Shirley and the boy's , it's painful now and the loss is significant , but you all know in your hearts that Frank is at peace in his forever home , the one that so eluded him in his youth..
Heartfelt prayer's and comfort to you all .
James 1: 3-4

To Shirley; to the sons and their wives; to the grandchildren; to brother Raymond and sister, Betty; to other members of Frank's family and friends who knew him well, my sincere condolences to each of you. May the close presence of the Lord, strengthen you and comfort you.
My family first became acquainted with Frank in the mid 1950's when we were school aged children. Over the years, he became a good friend to me and several of my family members and we had lots of memories that we shared together. Whenever we would see each other, we would always have lots to talk about. He never tired of telling me about that time in his life when he received by faith, Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord. That time meant a lot to him. And because of that special time, we can confidently say like the apostle Paul: "To be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8).
We will see Frank again, in that land that is fairer than day. We are so thankful that our paths crossed in life. God bless the memory of Frank to each of us.

Shirley, I am sorry for the temporary loss of Frank's presence in your life and understand that you miss him dearly but I rejoice that he is with his savour and lord, Jesus Christ. I have known Frank most of my life and he had a profound affect on my life at Grandma's funeral when he talked about Jesus to me.
I was in a desperate situation with my marriage breakup and needed some help. God told me to call Frank and he helped me. I cannot go into detail but you, Shirley, know how much I needed him and he was my last hope. He helped me and I never forgot his kindness and willingness to help.
God bless you Shirley and family and, I know, you are enjoying the blessings, from God, that Frank's life and walk with God is bringing to you now.

Shirley, Kevin, Dan, Bobby, Mike, and families,
My deepest condolences on the loss of such a great man. I have so many wonderful memories of Frank going back to when our families would sit across the aisle from each other at church. It was ALWAYS guaranteed that the Porters were in the front pew of the second set of pews from the front and we Toons were on the right. ❤️
Your dad always had a smile on his face and a joke in his back pocket. I can still hear his laugh even now. Both Frank and my Dad were such good friends from their early years, which turned into a wonderful life long friendship. They would do anything to support each other.
May you find peace in the quiet moments and share some laughs at all the funny things he has done over the years. He has earned every tear you shed today and always. Blessings to you all.

On behalf of the original State Farm Insurance Agents group in New Brunswick, please accept our condolences on the loss of Frank. As one of the founding 4 State Farm Agents in New Brunswick, Frank was instrumental in breaking ground for State Farm as a leading insurer in New Brunswick. His career helped launch opportunity for many State Farm( later Desjardins) agents to come after him. Frank will be remembered as a professional and a gentleman who always had a cheeky dry comment to close most conversations. Rest well Frank. A life well lived indeed.
