Obituary of Margaret Loretta Vilimaitis

Margaret Loretta (Barron) Vilimaitis of Fredericton, NB, widow of Joseph Vilimaitis passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, December 25, 2023. Born in Buchans, NL, on March 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Dawson) Barron. She was an active member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and a past member of the Catholic Women’s League. 

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Anne Whaling and brother, James Barron. 

She is survived by her sister, Genevieve Williams of Goulds, NL, and sister-in-law, Marie Barron of Carbonear, NL, and several nieces and nephews. 

Arrangements are under the care of York Funeral Home. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
