Obituary of Eva Maria Gerber

The passing of Eva Maria Gerber of Island View, NB, occurred on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 11, 1936 in Rastenburg, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Berta (Gronau) Lenz.

Eva is survived by her children, Wolfgang Gerber (Marie) of Ottawa, ON, Andrew Gerber (Cathie) of Mount Hope, NB, and Mike Gerber of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Ashley and Victoria both of Ottawa, ON, Crissie and Jamie both of Mount Hope, NB, and Lindsay of Upper Queensbury, NB; and siblings, Alfred, and Ruth of Germany.

 

Besides her husband and parents, Eva was predeceased by her sister, Rosemarie.

 

Interment will take place in Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview, NB at a later date. We would like to thank the staff of Mountainside Lodge in Island View for the wonderful care they provided Eva over the past eight years.
