Eleanor was always kind and pleasant to my husband Pete and I. We will always remember her cheerful reception at Boyce Market, and how she consitantly gave such a humble presentation that made you feel so welcome. Rest in peace Eleanor. You will be forever missed.

Our condolences to Betty Anne, Gary, Ardith and all Eleanor’s family. Eleanor had the best sense of humour. Loved seeing Eleanor at the market on Saturday with her mom and Wayne and visiting them at home as her mom got older.
Great memories of going down the road to the True farm growing up as kids. Fun times with all the family.
Love and memories from Sharon and Winslow MacDonald.

I was the first person who had the privilege of calling Eleanor my Aunt – and what an Aunt she was! A lot has been said about what a caring and loving person she was, and she was definitely that. She and I have had our fair share of heart-to-hearts, commiserating, and sharing of secrets - and I have loved every minute.
But one of the things I know I will miss the most is the laughter. Her silliness. Her willingness to play the fool just to see you smile. In a world that is far too serious she brought a lightheartedness to so many lives. You just never knew what would come out of her mouth or what she would do, no matter where we were. And if you knew her well, everybody has one of those stories to share. I couldn’t pick just one memory if I tried. There are simply too many times she’s brought joy to my life over the last 50 years.
A bright light in my life has been extinguished and will never be replaced. The world seems a little dimmer today. And there will never be a day that goes by that I don’t think of her.

We are sorry to hear of Eleanor’s passing, our condolences to her loved ones and friends. My husband, Ed Perley, grew up in Maugerville knowing the True’s, I (Glenda) met Eleanor several times when we living there. I heard only good stories about Eleanore from Gary, the McKinneys, the Perley’s as well as numerous other people. As per her reputation, she was very welcoming, always a smile and an invitation to come by, she did have a spark in her eyes. I had heard that she was always up for a fun time, which would explain the spark in her eye. We would see them growing in Garry’s yard and they were beautiful. Again, we are sorry to hear of the very heartbreaking loss of your mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who meant so much to so many.

Sincere condolences to Eleanor's Family. We didn't see a lot of each other but guarantee when I did there would always be a big smile and a conversation to catch-up on each other. You were always a hard worker and now you can rest in peace, pain free.

We have so many memories of Eleanor from her time working at Scott's and then as a customer through the years after. Eleanor was always smiling and looking for ways to make you smile. I remember when working in the flower shop every time her favourite song came on the radio she would start dancing, even while she was designing flowers, it always made us laugh. Dan Seals “Bop”, just listening to that song makes me cry thinking of her, it is amazing how a melody brings back memories and Eleanor was like a melody, there is no end to the memories she left with so many. She lived her life to the fullest, she truly enjoyed people and she loved what she did and that made her life so complete. Her mother Helen was her biggest hero and she did her proud. Eleanor you will be so missed by so many but, we know you are still here with us and your stories will stay with us like melodies.

Very saddened to hear of Eleanor's passing. Deepest sympathies to her family and extended family - Ardeth and Gary. She was a very talented lady with the flowers - and grew the best rhubarb around. Tia always had a chuckle about something Nanny said. Her and Wayne always attended the dance recitals of her grand daughters. Will miss her at XMAS Eve gatherings at Krista's house. My prayers are with you Eleanor.

My deepest sympathy to Eleanor's family. Got to know her and Wayne at the market and for the last 15 years I would order a saddle for my Mom's grave and Eleanor always did a beautiful job. For the last few years I would also pick up flowers for my yard and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was a very strong woman and we had many great talks. I will miss her smile and soft voice. RIP Eleanor.

We are so sorry to hear of Inch's passing, although we knew that she was bravely fighting cancer. We both bowled with Inch and Wayne for many years. I sure will miss seeing her at the Market, she was one of the reasons I went into the building, to have a chat and buy a squash.. She will be remembered for her love of life, her sense of humour and her kindness.
