Obituary of Marion Adele Plume
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Marion Adele Plume at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Born on August 7, 1931 in Woodlands, NB she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Clara (Downie) Schwartz. Marion was a member of Coronation Women’s Institute and St. Thomas Anglican Church in Stanley, NB.
Marion will be missed by her loving husband of almost 72 years, John Plume; children, Susan Taplin (Brent), Phillip Plume (Beverley), Nancy Hayes (Dana); grandchildren, Shannon Taplin, Andrea Robinson (Dave), Sarah Hayes (Warren), Adam Hayes (Chelsea); great-grandchildren, Maguire, Tristen and Ethan; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Masks will be required, by request of the family, at all events. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 1 to 2 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lyn Hughes officiating. Interment will be in Woodlands Community Cemetery at a later date. Remembrance can be made to Woodlands Community Cemetery or Just Friends Foodbank in Stanley. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
