Just found out about Brian. Shocked and saddened. A lovely and generous man. I lived in Ottawa all these years, but when I would rarely visit F’ton, time faded and it was like when we were 16 years old playing in our first rock band at high school assembly. I truly hope to get down for the celebration of Brian’s life. Sincere condolences to Jesse and Louanne.
Rest well, B.

I found Brian to be one of the most genuinely friendly and compassionate persons I have met...one who made you feel good by just being in his presence whether he was paving , enjoying playing music or cheering for Igoddago coming down the home stretch at the track and winning a lot of harness races!! ...He surely will be greatly missed by Louanne , his family , musicians , fans and many friends...

Dear Luanne,
My deepest condolences for your sudden loss.
I was proud to call Brian my friend and certainly expected I would see him again.
He contributed so much to his community that he will be much missed by many.
I have always admired his integrity and will always have great respect for his musicianship.
I bet he and Jack are already starting a new band.
Wish I could attend the service.
Sending love in your time of sorrow.

Dear Louanne and Family.
We send our heartfelt condolences. We were reminded of our time in New Orleans, particularly, the evening when the taxi driver took us on a wild chase but successfully landing at The Mermaid Lounge so that we could hear one of our favourite blues guitar player, Sonny Landreth. May you find comfort and strength in the memories and music that you shared with Brian.
Hugs,

I’m not really sure where to start……Brian the light that you shared with others will never go out. The impact you had on so many lives came naturally to you , and the gift of music that you shared so freely will live forever. You were an amazing friend and confidant along the sometimes messy road of life. Thank you for everything Brian , I will always miss you , talk about you , but mostly I will always be grateful for your love and guidance over the years. Please keep watching over me and keep me on the straight and narrow Bri. Rest easy and keep playing that guitar! Love you.
Louanne, Jesse and family. thinking of you all as you process the loss of such a great Man. Sending love, peace and big hugs to you all .

Brian and I travelled together when we were enrolled at the former Saint John Institute of Technology in 1970. We boarded together at 39 Sherwood Drive. Brian and I hit it off real well, he was an easy guy to like and we had a lot of fun as students, what happened in Saint John stayed in Saint John...LOL. Even then he was a great Bass player. We kept in contact over the years, he never changed. He had a great fondness for dogs, he had a big heart for all. He will be missed by all, and I will miss his great friendship.
