Obituary of Eric Brian Crouse

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Eric Brian Crouse on Monday, January 16, 2023. Born in Zealand, NB on August 29, 1949, he was the son of the late Leona Pearl Crouse.

Eric was an old soul, he loved the outdoors, you usually saw him out and about on his four wheeler, or he was going with his fishing pole. He enjoyed his job; he worked for Springhill Infrastructure for 13 years.

Eric is survived by his wife, Catherine; sons, Desmond Crouse, of Fredericton, NB,  Shane Crouse (Jody) of South Hampton, NB; daughters, Erica Crouse-Collins (Doug) and Gena Crouse both of Zealand, NB, Tina Brewer (Marie) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Dexter Lyons (Jessie) of Fredericton, NB, Devon Lyons (Hillary) of Halifax, NS, Lorinda Crouse (Kieshon) of Kingsley, NB, Josie Harrison Scotch Settlement, NB,  Kasey Collins and Noel Collins both Halifax, NS, Tayla and Olivia Lane; great granddaughter, Lennon Munroe Lyons. Also Dad’s fur baby whom he loved very much, Zues. Eric is also survived by his brother, Micheal Crouse (Bertha) of Ottawa, ON; sisters, Opal Hicks of Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Devota Seaboyer, Brenda Bennett (Brian), Anita Porter Brown (Phil) all from Fredericton, NB, Carol Moss (David) of Zealand, NB and Gail Moore of Woodstock NB; several nieces and nephews. Eric was predeceased by his brother, Sheridan Crouse.
