I have known Angus for many years. He was always around at the Stanley Fair and other community events, and faithfully attended his church - Stirling Tay Creek United. He always enjoyed a good chat. My condolences to his family on his passing.

Condolences to Angus Rogers family. I remember going to fiddle jams and Angus would be there playing his fiddle. We would have long talks, also, at variety shows while listening to the music. Angus was a very nice man.

I grew up on the Currieburg Road, the neighbouring dirt road of the Fredericksburg Road, where Angus lived. Angus and my father were close friends. I worked for Angus - haying - for a week or so during the summer of 1984, when I was 13/14 years old. I stayed overnight at his home the whole time. So, I got to know him better at that time.
In the fall of 1985, my father, brother, and I went to Toronto for a week with Angus, and we all stayed with his sister, Jean, at her home in Mississauga. That was a fun trip (my first trip to Toronto), Jean took us to the Mr. Greenjeans restaurant at the Eaton Centre. We traveled by train to T.O. and back.
Angus was a wealth of knowledge of the history of Fredericksburg, Tay Creek, and beyond. I enjoyed hearing his many stories whenever I saw him.
My condolences to his family.
