Obituary of Patience Elaine Carson

Surrounded by her loving family, the passing of Patience “Penny” Elaine Carson, wife of the late Eugene Carson of Bloomfield Ridge, NB, occurred on December 10, 2022 at Hospice House in Fredericton.  Born on November 22, 1943 in Hayesville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harding and Florence (Norrad) Munn.  Penny worked hard all her life. She began her career planting trees and later became foreman with various companies, ending with Rose and Dickson Tree Farm. Penny will be remembered for her zest for life and love of her family.

Penny is survived by her children, Mary Ann Carson, Dion Carson, Carrie Robichaud; grandchildren, Jenna (Jordan) Wilson, Marlee (Matthew Perreault) Moxon and Miles Moxon; great-grandchildren, Liam, Levi, Aleah and one on the way; siblings, Guy Munn (Sharon), Gardner Munn, Henry Munn, June MacLellan, Vivian Berry (Gary Munn), Edwina Hunter; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Cecil Munn; sister, Claudette Ross; brother-in-law, Leith Hunter.

Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 12-1:30 pm.  A Memorial Service will follow at 2 pm with Mark Moir officiating.  Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery, Holtville at a later date.
