To all the pond children and thier families
I had quite a few visits to the homestead over the last 60 years. Bunny and Bonny were always welcoming to me as a friend of the family. They worked hard to keep things going over the years and always had treats ( homemade ) on hand. After Bunny passed I think it was very tough for Bonnie. And it’s hard to lose two children. May you Rest In Peace Bonnie!

We were all saddened to learn that our Aunt Bonnie had passed away. We knew that she was not well but thought if anyone could survive the many health issues, she could.
We will all miss the warmth and hospitality we received when visiting her in her home and the phone conversations we had with our Aunt Bonnie.
She will be laid to rest with the love of her life our Uncle Bun, and two of their sons Chris and Robbie.
Our warmest thoughts and prayers are with you the Family, today and in the days to come.
Aunt Bonnie your race has been run, RIP.
God Bless, Jack, Rika & family

So very sorry to learn of Bonnie's death. As fellow "Durhamites" we shared many adventures and experiences growing up. We
were good friends most all our lives. We traded pickles and pies for my amateur attempts at quilting. Bonnie always declared them works of art, but she was a very poor fibber.
My sincere condolences to all her loved ones. She will be missed.

My sincere condolences to all the family. I went to Durham School with
Bonnie and we became best of friends. I haven't seen her for many years but did visit when I was in Durham. She was a sweet person who cared very much for her family. It saddens me that she has passed but am thankful for the memories we shared. RIP Bonnie. Sincerely Gayle Sweeney Mercer.

It is with sadness to hear of Bonnie's passing.
Bonnie was a relative and friend, we shared many good times at their place. Always lots going on, Bonnie making her wedding cakes, Frank did some of the deliveries while we were there, always fun times. We did cemetery work with Bonnie & Bunny, many stories were told in that kitchen, we covered alot of ground and years.
Bonnie I hope you are a peace and pain free, maybe making cakes, sandwiches and cookies, eh.
Much love Marilyn

Darren, Stephanie and Johnny, sending out my heartfelt condolences to you and all the members of your family at this most difficult time. This evening my brother had called to tell me he had seen news online of Robbie’s passing, and I was then shocked to see the news of your mother’s passing as well. Many years .. decades .. have passed, but I still have fond memories of Durham, of your parents and family who were always so kind to me. I wish there were words that could comfort you at this sad time but of course there are not, at least none that are adequate. Hold on to the fond memories you have of all those who are now gone, knowing that, no matter what, love does endure. Take care ... signed, Debbie MacLeod Facchin.
