Joy and family and Doug and family. My heartfelt sympathies for you all at this difficult time. I cannot think of Dot without remembering her joyful and sincere laugh and sense of humour. She was a second mum to me …..the one who was a wonderful cook. Her date squares were memorable. The mum who spent time fixing my hair only to have a bird poop on it. She almost peed her pants laughing but fixed it all again for me. She was the one who sent John out with the switch cause we were past curfew . My memories of her are all happy memories. When you get past your grieving I’m sure the brightness that Dot was, will shine through. Gods blessings to you both

To Dorothy’s family, Our mother, Ruth Elliott, lived at the Villa with Dorothy and she and Dorothy became “besties” right from the start.
