Pat (Nanny Pat) my next door neighbor since I moved to Fredericton as a young mum of 26. My mentor, my shopping buddy, my protector, my babysitter, my best friend, my Christmas baking buddy, my secret keeper and the light that was always on and waiting when I had to come home late at night. Fudge maker supreme! Seldom went a day that we didn't visit or talk on the phone multiple times. You are remembered and missed daily in this home. Your goodness, kind heart and the great love for your family are but a few of the attributes that come to mind. For as long as I live here I will feel your presence close and miss you deeply in my daily life. Your impact on me was profound and enduring. Rest easy my bestie (before besties were even a thing). I will cherish your memory and carry you in my heart and mind until we meet again.
