Nina worked as a Telephone Operator for NB Telephone in Keswick Ridge, NB when she met her husband Irvine. Following that she was a home maker and raised her family. Over the years she enjoyed babysitting many children in her community out of her home.

Nina was a natural born storyteller and loved to tell stories. In 2011 she collaborated with the Keswick Valley Laubach Literacy Council and included her story in a book entitled “In My Day Too”. Nina was a member of the Kingsley-Birdton Pastoral Charge, a life member of the Kingsley United Church Women, a member of the Burtt’s Corner Seniors Group, a member of the Women’s Progressive Conservative Association, and a faithful volunteer for the Keswick Valley Rec. In her later years she became an avid reader and enjoyed sharing and recommending books.

Nina was most proud of her large family and always found a way to stay connected and in touch with everyone. She was always a loving and kind grandmother and role model to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she loved to brag about them to all.
