Obituary of Loreen Sullivan

Please share a memory of Loreen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

The family of Loreen Mary Sullivan would like to take this opportunity to inform her many friends and acquaintances of her passing on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, following a brief illness. Loreen was the only child born to the late Phoebe (Muise) and Dan DesRoches in Halifax, NS.

Loreen is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, William Allan Sullivan of Williamsburg, NB; also her four sons, Rusty (Mary), Rance (Kathy), Darren and Shawn (Debbie) of Edmonton, AB; two daughters, Sheila (Rocky) and Tami; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her best friend of over 60 years, Marion McKinnon.

Loreen will be lovingly remembered as the best mom ever.  Everybody who knew her loved her and she them.  Her greatest love being undoubtedly for her Lord Jesus Christ.

Loreen enjoyed family get togethers where she made sure that all were well feed.  Other interests were reading and knitting, and to help others was a great joy to Loreen.  She also loved the years spent with the group “Country Joy” which played in many churches and community functions.

She will be sadly missed by a great many who all undoubtedly are richer for having shared her earthy visit.

A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at a later date.  For those who wish, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association and would be greatly appreciated by the family.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
