Condolences to Hope's family & friends. Hope was my Mom's caregiver for quite awhile. She took very good care of my Mom. Hope has a kind heart and will be missed by many. Although Hope's passing was sudden & kinda a shock, I'm thankful that the Lord took her quickly (being that it was her time). Imagine, my Mom is surprised to see her arrive, and one day, all those that know Our Lord, will see her again. Remember precious memories to share until then. My prayers to you all.

To the family of Hope
Please accept my sincere heart-felt condolence for your loss. I work for the same company that Hope did (Bayshore) & I thought she was such a lovely person. Very outgoing & energetic, full of life & enthusiasm. She was very sensitive & caring. She loved to talk, but at the same time was very private. I enjoyed our little conversations. We either had mutual clients where we spoke to each other or we would see each other at Bayshore meetings & parties or we'd see each other at the grocery store. More importantly, she had a strong faith in God & wanted to share the good news with everyone that she had encountered (after all she was a teacher), so teaching came naturally to her. It was the nicest picture that I had ever seen of her. It was such a shock to see her picture in the newspaper. I couldn't believe it. Now Heaven has another Angel & some of her clients that had passed on before her will be there to greet her. She will be missed until we meet again. Sonya M.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Hope. Hope was a wonderful, kind, caring and loving person. I feel honored and blessed to have known her and have her in my life the past 10 years. She had a genuine love and caring for others from all walks of life. Her daily walk with God was clearly evident in her relationships and in her poems she shared with others. I will miss her in my life.
I regret being unable to attend visitation or the funeral because of health issues.
My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with you all at this most sorrowful time.

To Hope's Family-so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Hope for about 10 years. We talked about books and how our lives were going. In 2012, she prayed with me when my husband had heart surgery. It was such a comfort. Hope was a wonderful, caring Christian lady.

Hope...you were a big part of my life and it was a pleasure knowing and loving you as my friend. The French lessons, your Joie de Vivre, your smile and always the touch of your hands when you prayed over people.
You will NEVER be "out of sight, out of mind"
You will be forever in our hearts! You were well loved and appreciated by your friends.
Love Always and Forever

I was shocked and saddened to learn of my friend's passing on Saturday. Hope was a wonderful caring person. She lived her life as Jesus would do. She cared for the poor and less fortunate. Whenever she had more than enough she took it to the Women's Shelter. She taught me how to live simply and be good to people. She shared with me many wonderful authors and we spent many lunches together at Tim's talking about them. She'd say,"She(the author) is a humdinger!" I will miss her in so many ways...one being her praying for me and my family on the phone. In fact a week before her passing she called me and prayed one of the most beautiful long prayers I have ever had prayed over me. She knew her Lord well...in this prayer she said," No matter what we're going through You do not change." "You are greater than any problem we meet." And "You are a God of love and mercy." She believed each one of us has an influence and we don't know which ones we are influencing. She witnessed to homeless people on the street, taxi cab drivers and countless others. Hope always gave me some 'homework' to do. By that I knew I had some treasures of scripture to look up. One she gave me last week was a passage very priceless to her, Lamentations 3:21-26. It will be a special one for me forever. There will be so many things that will come to mind for the rest of my days having known this very special lady. I only knew her for a little over three years but my life was made better because of her Christian love and caring. My heart goes out to the MacMullin family in the loss of your beloved Hope and to the myriad of lives she has touched.I will miss her terribly until- we meet again in Heaven.

Hope touched our family in a very special memorable way. During the last few years she took very special care of our Mom (before she recently went home. Though only a few hours a week she became more part of our family then a home care professional. Mom really enjoyed those few minutes of tea time. Thank you Hope, and condolences to her family. Sincerely, the Swifts.

Dear family: I am so sorry to hear of Hope's passing. She was so special to me-a wonderful friend, prayer partner, and Ashram companion. I am surely going to miss her and she will indeed be missed at the Ashram this year. I enjoyed seeing her at St. Margaret's for the healing services, her prayers, and driving her home. What a precious lady who loved all and was loved by all. Much sympathy. Love and blessings Peggy
