Obituary of Sheila Hill

The passing of Sheila Dannielle (Foster) Hill, wife of Malcolm “Mac” Hill of Upper Keswick, NB, occurred on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 10, 1938 in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Daniel E. and Edna N. (Schofield) Foster. Sheila worked many years as a telephone operator. She retired in 1990 from the York Care Centre where she worked in the food service department. Sheila enjoyed knitting, crocheting, spending time at the camp in Napadogan and at the Paradise trailer park in Ludlow, NB. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, Sheila is survived by her sons, Andrew M. Hill of Ft. McMurray, AB and his children, Brady and Dannielle Hill, Troy D. Hill of Ft. McMurray, AB and Trent D. Hill (Lisa) and their children, Colby and Cooper Hill of Burtts Corner, NB; sister, Joan (Stephen)Von Stackelburg of Cobyconk, ON; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Allison) Lenentine of Bridgewater, ME, Florence (Harold) Pond of Fredericton, NB and Carmen Burns of Moncton, NB; brother-in-law, David (Barbara) Hill of Tatamagouche, NS; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Hill, brother-in-law, Peter Burns, father and mother-in-law, Perley and Edna Hill. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Graveside Service will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery at a later date.
