Obituary of Ralph Brewer

The passing of Ralph Clifford Brewer of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of the late Irene (Dunphy) Brewer occurred on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his home on MacLean Settlement Road, where he had spent his whole life. Born on September 1, 1922 in Burtts Corner, NB, he was a son of the late Perley and Emily (Bird) Brewer. Ralph was a self employed farmer. He was a very active member of the Burtts Corner Baptist Church and held various positions in the church. Ralph is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Brewer and Kathleen Brewer both of Burtts Corner, NB; his sons, Paul (Joan) Brewer of Fredericton, NB, Goolie (Gail) Brewer of New Maryland, NB and Perley (Patricia) Brewer of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Rebecca Babin (Brad), Neil Brewer (Natasha), Garth Brewer (Kelly), Kim Brewer (James Rioux) and Andrew Brewer (Patricia); great grandchildren, Nate Brewer, Isabelle Brewer and Nicholas Brewer; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Irma Haines, Elva Fanjoy and Nora Jewett; brothers, Carl Brewer and Stewart Brewer. Visitation will take place at Burtts Corner Baptist Church on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Burtts Corner Baptist Church on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt and Pastor Dave Wellwood officiating. Reception will follow at the church. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery in the spring.
