Mona Marie Haché of Nashwaak Village passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 70, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on June 2, 1955, in Marysville, she was the youngest daughter of the late Suzanne (Doiron) and Philip Haché.

Mona was known for keeping to herself and living a quiet life. She found joy in planting flowers and watching the birds, simple pleasures that brought her peace.

She is survived by her special friend and partner, Peter Duguay; her sons, James Scott (Lisa) and Matthew Scott (Shelley); her grandsons, Thomas Scott and Landon Scott; her brothers, Omer (Rachel) and Johnny Haché (Linda); her sisters, Aurelia (Léo Paul), Donalda (the late Donat), Adelaïde (Rénald), and Carmen (Frank); as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mona was predeceased by her brother, Louis.
