John was a big pleasant man with a big heart and was always there when needed. I remenber his playing the dancing man when a crowd was around for fun and entertainment He was a damn good trucker and enjoyed it.

Q: What was one of the qualities of John that you loved most?
A: John looked after us younger siblings. He was about 16/17 years old. Took us sledding down over the little hill at the bottom of the farm. In winter would pull us around on the sled down through the field and back. He was a great older brother to us younger kids
