It is with sad and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our precious little girl, Daisy Bea Barbara Young, daughter of Matthew and Jessica Young of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

In addition to her loving parents, Daisy will be missed by her big brothers, Levi and Hudson; grandparents, Marla Simmonds (Dave Pond), Dana Young (Rolanda Gerard), Preston & Diane Carrier; great grandmother Oma, Barbara Simmonds; aunts, Jenna Young, Billie-Dawn and Jodie-Lynn Gerard, Kayla Gallant and Nathan Carrier; special uncles, Shawn Simmonds and Mark Faulds; several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Daisy was predeceased by her great grandparents, John and Christine Carrier and Wilson and Beatrice Faulds and an infant great-uncle Derrick. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Nashwaaksis United Church, 46 Main Street, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 2 pm with The Rev. Richard Bowley and The Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. A reception will follow the service.

Special thanks to Shawna Winzar and Jodi Lynn for the extra special care provided for Daisy’s big brothers during this time. Mommy and Daddy wanted to give an extra special thanks to the delivering Doctor, Dr. Bossé, pediatrician, Dr. Messenger, nurse, Terry Lynn, first responders, emergency department, NICU  staff and administrator officer, Judy for all her compassion.
