It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Winona “Nona” Lola Pike, who left this world on April 14, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital, surrounded by those who loved her most. Born in Stanley, New Brunswick, on April 7, 1971, Nona was the joy and laughter of every room she entered. To know her was truly to love her. She was sassy, witty, and always kept those around her on their toes. Her vibrant spirit and contagious laugh will never be forgotten.

Nona dedicated much of her adult life to hard work as a labourer, making wreaths and working in the potato fields alongside friends she loved dearly. She cherished simple pleasures—singing, knitting, and meaningful conversations with friends and family. Above all, she loved the Lord with all her heart, and spent her younger years leading worship at Juniper Pentecostal Church.

Her greatest joy in life was her son Jeffrey, who was her entire world. Her prize and joy were her grandchildren, Mavery and Mallory, who lovingly called her “Baby.” She cherished every moment with them. Nona also held a special place in her heart for her nieces, Lacey and Nikita, whom she loved as daughters.

Nona is survived by her parents, Harold (Rita) Munn; son, Jeffrey (Adrianna Mollison) Pike; grandchildren, Mavery and Mallory; brother, Jeffrey (Paula) Munn; nieces Nikita (Kaylem) Shute and Lacey (Caleb) Ens; her partner, Tom Sawyer; and her best friend, Steven Pike.

Visitation will take place at Miramichi’s First Pentecostal Church of Holtville, 376 Holtville Road, Holtville, NB, on Thursday, April 17th, 2025 from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM. A Going Home service will be held at the same location on Friday, April 18th, 2025, at 2 PM.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice knowing Nona is at peace in the presence of the Lord she so dearly loved."
