Obituary of Jerry Phillip Gibbons

The family of Jerry Phillip Gibbons of Green Hill, NB, would like to announce his sudden passing on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at home. Born on July 25, 1958 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Margaret Edith (Palmer) Gibbons. Jerry worked at Canadian Tire for many years. He was a car enthusiast and loved working on old cars. Jerry always had cats and enjoyed reading in his spare time.

 

Jerry is survived by sisters, Mary Lagacy and Eileen Newman (Clark Harris); brothers, Larry Gibbons (Ginny) and John Gibbons; special nephews, Brian (Carla) Lagacy and Barry (Bridget) Gibbons and several other nieces and nephews.

 

Besides his parents, Jerry was predeceased by siblings; Henry Gibbons, Gilbert Gibbons, Lila Boone, Elsie Doone, Marguerite Hovey, Laura Gibbons and Annie Gibbons.

 

At Jerry’s request, there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
