To Chris and family...Sorry to learn of your mum's passing. I have to admit I knew, because of where we lived. your dad better than your mother but I recall her from my days in Woodstock where I got to know your grandfather Pat. My Sincere Sympathy to you and the family...God Bless all and always keep the good memories in your heart! Nice to see a book in the making also...

I was so sad to hear of Suzanne’s passing. I worked with her at Gibson Neill school & she would often stop to have a little chat & a laugh with me in the library, amidst the hustle & bustle of the school.

Dear Chris & Family,
Larry Sweeney and I worked with dear Suzanne on the NB WORKS project at NBCC many years ago. Without a doubt, your Mom was such a lovely lady, who worked with us and was so accommodating. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I knew Suzanne both as an EA and a home support worker with my mother in law. She was so great at both these professions, so kind and patient. Her family was #1 and her Facebook posts were often of the grandchildren she loved so dearly. My sympathy to all her family and friends.

I was saddened to see the passing of my childhood friend. Thanks to social media we were reconnected in adulthood and had many chats. She was so proud of her son and grandchildren! You know when you have that kind of friend that no matter how long it has been since you have seen each other, you just pick up where you left off. That’s how we were.
I am unable to make it to the funeral, so I thought I would share a few memories with you. One time we went to the movies at the Theater when her father was running it. We saw a movie about pink elephants; that’s all I remember). We came home from the theatre along Richmond Street. My parents had told us to come home along main street, but we decided to go the back way on Richmond Street, A man who was quite drunk, jumped out of the bushes and scared us so badly that we ran as fast as we could till, we got to my home on Cross Street. We were out of breath and laughed so much at the same time. We were maybe 10 or 11 years old. We never told them what happened!
Another time we were walking from her house to my house down main street. She had her hair tied up on top of her head and a June bug got into her hair. Yup, we went, crazy, screaming Trying to get it out of her hair. Then laughed like fools again when we realized that anybody that saw us must have wondered what was happening. We nearly always ended up laughing!
I will finish with this. When we were 14 years old, my mother and father said Suzanne could come to Old Orchard Beach with us on vacation. We had a great time! We played on the beach and spent hours talking about the boys, etc. We saw the beach boys before they were famous and decided to walk back to our little log cabin where we were staying. The funny thing is, much to my parents’ horror, we bought ourselves a T-Shirt that said: “I’m Available!” We thought we were wonderful, but my parents were not impressed. Ha! Ha! It really was a crazy thing to do but we loved them.
Please accept my condolences .
Suzanne was a wonderful friend. I know she loved you all. She will be laughing when you read this. Rest in Peace my friend.
In sympathy,
Maureen (Craig) McIntosh
