The passing of Charles Eldon Perry of Fredericton, NB, occurred on October 6, 2023 at Oromocto Public Hospital.  Born on May 12, 1946 in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Eldon and Elsie (McEachern) Perry. Charlie was journalist in Atlantic Canada for many years.

Charlie is survived by sister, Ruby Zack (Irwin) of Toronto. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Perry.

Funeral service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T, Gordon MacLeod Chapel on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at 11 am with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Interment will take place in the Fernhill Cemetery. Public are welcome to view the live stream of the service at www.yorkfh.com. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
