Obituary of Robert Allan Keilty

The passing of Robert Allan Keilty of Fredericton, NB, occurred on September 23, 2023 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on December 9, 1942 in Canterbury, NB, he was the son of the late Allan and Bernice (McGinnis) Keilty. 

Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra (Thompson) Keilty,  daughter, Karen Keilty-Gray (Mark Gray); son, Tim Keilty (Lise Martin-Keilty); brothers, G.C. (Pete) Keilty (Pat) and Allison Keilty (Beryl); sister, Joyce Walton; grandchildren, Jenna Keilty and Maggie Gray; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Ralph Keilty.

The family of Robert would like to say thank-you to Dr. Matt Kenney and the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the hospital for all their wonderful care.   

 A private interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Parkinson Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
