Gail will be missed by so many. She had that wonderful smile that came from deep down in her soul as she truly loved everyone. And, even with all she lived through always had that smile. It was so great to be able to see her so many times this past year and her lovely new granddaughter, Hope. Our hearts go out to you all. The McFadzens

I just want to send love and prayers to Ron, Jonathan, Jeremy, Danielle and Jarrett and all your families.
I remember Mrs. McLeod was always so keen to lead us in cheering for the boy's sports teams back in the good old DPCS days.... I think she even attempted a few cartwheels on the soccer field! She was the closest we ever got to a cheerleading coach and I loved joining her to cheer! And her brown bread was always so good at all the various events we had at school. One year we made a cookbook and her recipe was in it... and I've made it so many times over the last 5 years or so and have won over many people here in Nova Scotia with it!

My heart goes out to the family. Gail was a fun loving good friend. There was always lots of laughter when she was around. She loved to sing « This is the day that the Lord had made » and use my French accent for a good laugh. We have missed her in our midst for many years due to her pain and illness. I miss you Gail but i will sing that song again with you in heaven with an English accent. Aline

I remember Gail's beautifully harmonizing alto voice the many times she sang in church. Even in the midst of her years of suffering pain she had a precious, warm smile that reflected her faith in her loving God.

These flowers remind me of the flower pot with US and CA flags on Aunt Gail's front porch when we visited in 2019. Sending love from Pennsylvania.

I cannot remember when Gail and I became friends! We met at NBBI but it wasn't until several years later that we began a friendship that grew in the years to come. I loved her accent! Loved her laugh! Most of our friendship grew from our first, letters, then as it became difficult for Gail to write, we talked on the phone. I do not know anyone who has suffered physically more than Gail-or, for as long. She had difficult times and she shared them, but, her faith in her Lord Jesus was strong. And her love for her family and those grandchildren who brought her so much joy. Oh, Gail, how I will miss hearing your voice on the other end of the line but, there is no way we could wish you back to that ongoing, incessant pain. You brought us joy-you will never be forgotten!
